From Brewhouse to Boardroom Our Family Story
Four generations of brewing tradition meets eight years of digital innovation. This is the story of dropt.beer – where heritage craft meets modern business.
The Brewery in Our Blood
My great-grandfather opened our family brewery over a century ago. Back then, beer wasn’t just a business – it was community, celebration, and craft. Each batch was an experiment, a recipe refined through generations, a tradition passed from father to son.
We never went commercial. We didn’t mass-produce or chase scale. Instead, we brewed custom beers for parties, celebrations, and special occasions. A wedding? We’d craft something unique. A festival? A special recipe. Each brew told a story, celebrated a moment, brought people together.
My grandfather handed me the family recipe book when I was young – handwritten notes, crossed-out experiments, annotations in the margins. “This is our legacy,” he said. “Every recipe here came from trying something new, failing sometimes, and perfecting through patience.”
That philosophy stuck with me, even as I took a different path.
Evolution, Not Abandonment
My father didn’t follow the brewery path either. In his early years, he started Nocturn, a heritage perfume business. Different product, same philosophy – custom creations, careful craft, personal connections with clients. He applied what our family knew about creating experiences to a new industry.
Watching him build Nocturn taught me something crucial: legacy isn’t about doing exactly what your ancestors did. It’s about carrying forward their values while adapting to your time.
The brewery taught us experimentation. The perfume business taught us that scent, like taste, is deeply personal and emotional. Both taught us that the best products are crafted with care, not mass-produced with indifference.
My Digital Awakening
I grew up surrounded by craft and commerce, brewing and branding. But I saw something my great-grandfather and grandfather never had to face: the digital revolution.
While they relied on word-of-mouth and local reputation, businesses today need a different kind of presence. Eight years ago, I dove into digital marketing – not because I wanted to abandon our family traditions, but because I wanted to understand how businesses thrive in the modern world.
I’ve spent the last eight years mastering digital strategy, marketing automation, AI-powered solutions, web development, and every tool that helps businesses connect with people in this digital age. I’ve worked with startups that became success stories and heritage brands trying to stay relevant.
And through it all, I kept thinking about that brewery. About custom beers and handwritten recipes. About experimentation and celebration. About connecting with people over something crafted with care.
dropt.beer: Where Four Generations of Craft Meet Digital Innovation
Lessons From Four Generations
Craft Over Mass Production
From great-grandfather’s brewery: Every batch mattered. Every recipe was refined. We never mass-produced, we crafted. Same approach today – your business gets bespoke solutions, not cookie-cutter templates.
Experimentation Over Formulas
From grandfather’s recipe book: Crossed-out notes, margin scribbles, constant testing. The best recipes came from trying, failing, and trying again. We bring that same experimental spirit to your marketing, AI, and development.
Celebration Over Complacency
From the brewery tradition: Beer was brewed for celebrations – weddings, festivals, victories. Every milestone deserves recognition. We celebrate your wins because that’s what keeps the passion alive.
Heritage Meets Innovation
From father’s Nocturn perfume business: You can honor tradition while embracing new methods. Legacy isn’t about staying stuck – it’s about carrying forward values while adapting to today’s world.
Personal Connection Over Transactions
From custom brewing and bespoke perfumes: Our family never sold products to anonymous masses. We created for people we knew, understood, cared about. Your project isn’t a transaction – it’s a relationship.
Digital Mastery Meets Artisan Values
From my 8 years in digital marketing: I’ve seen businesses evolve, struggle, and thrive online. I bring digital expertise without losing the artisan soul. Modern tools, timeless values.
Why dropt.beer?
Looking back at my family’s journey – from a brewery that crafted custom beers, to a perfume house that created bespoke scents, to me diving into digital marketing – I realized we’d always been doing the same thing in different ways.
We were experimenting, creating, connecting, and celebrating. Whether it was a perfect pale ale for a summer wedding or a digital campaign that 10x’d a startup’s revenue, the heart was the same: craft something unique that brings people joy.
dropt.beer isn’t just a clever name. It’s a legacy continued in a new form.Today, I work with a team of passionate creatives, developers, strategists, and AI experts who share this philosophy. We bring digital expertise without corporate coldness. We build modern solutions with artisan care. We experiment boldly but craft meticulously.
When you work with dropt.beer, you’re not just hiring a digital agency. You’re connecting with a lineage of craftspeople who believe business should be personal, creative, and celebratory – whether you’re brewing beer, blending perfume, or building the next big thing online.
