Meet the team →dropt.beer started in a family brewery where the best ideas came out over cold pints. Uninhibited thinking, professional execution. Four generations of craft, now applied to drinks journalism.
Why the experiment →Drunk ideas aren't stupid. They're uninhibited. When people drink, they don't become less intelligent — they become less afraid.— The Experiment, Why We Call It That
Growing up in a family brewery, we watched people stop filtering. After a pint, the polished professional became the honest thinker. Wild ideas spilled out — ideas that sounded insane, but had kernels of genius buried inside.
That's what dropt.beer is built on: the belief that great insight comes when people feel safe to be genuine. We take the drinks world seriously, but never so seriously that we forget the joy of a perfect pour among friends.
Read the full experiment →Every batch is an experiment. Every recipe is refined through patience. We never mass-produce — we craft.
Great-grandfather opened the family brewery over a century ago. Never commercial. Custom beers for weddings, celebrations, and festivals. A handwritten recipe book filled with crossed-out experiments, margin scribbles, and perfected classics. "Every recipe here came from trying something new, failing sometimes, and perfecting through patience."
The next generation applied the same philosophy to a new craft: perfumery. Nocturn was built on custom creations and personal connections with clients — same values as the brewery, different product. It taught us that scent, like taste, is deeply personal and emotional. Legacy isn't about doing exactly what your ancestors did. It's about carrying forward their values.
Growing up surrounded by craft and commerce, the fourth generation saw something new: the digital revolution. Eight years building digital strategy, marketing, AI solutions, and web development — always with the brewery in mind. The question was never how to abandon tradition, but how to carry its values into a new era.
Where four generations of craft meet independent editorial journalism. We still experiment. We still celebrate every success. We just do it with words, analysis, and the world's best drinks — not hops and malt. The family recipe book now has a new chapter: every bottle tells a story, and we are here to tell it.
